An avalanche of submissions from leading Fortune 1,000 organizations yields a star-studded agenda featuring real-world case studies and best practices
DevOps Enterprise Summit (DOES15), the premiere conference focused on helping enterprise software organizations accelerate quality software delivery, today announced its 2015 speaker line-up consisting of experts from leading Fortune 1,000 brands. Executives from Nordstrom, Target, Disney, Verizon, Raytheon, Bank of America, Nationwide Insurance, CSG, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and more will present real-world case studies and share practical approaches on how DevOps and Continuous Delivery drive value to customers and enterprise IT users alike. Some of the keynotes announced are by Jason Cox, director, systems engineering for The Walt Disney Company, on the successes, failures and challenges that Disney has experienced as DevOps continues to awaken within the enterprise, and Tapabrata Pal, product manager for Capital One, on why transparency and amplified feedback loops are essential to DevOps success. The speaker line-up is available at http://devopsenterprise.io/.
“DevOps is not just for startups. Large enterprises experimenting with or implementing DevOps practices are creating incredible value for their organizations,” said Gene Kim, co-author of the ‘The Phoenix Project’ and upcoming ‘DevOps Cookbook.’ “The agenda at DevOps Enterprise 2015 is designed to help these early adopters accelerate their progress. This growing community of practice has set a tone for a safe, inclusive environment where newcomers are telling their own stories and learning from the stories of the entire community.”
The DevOps Enterprise Summit will take place October 19–21, 2015, in San Francisco, and conference organizers Electric Cloud and IT Revolution plan for double the attendance over last year’s sold-out show. The first day-and-a-half of the three-day conference features keynotes from industry luminaries and speakers who will share DevOps and Continuous Delivery experiences, successes and failures. The second and third days of the conference consist of parallel technology, process and business tracks throughout the day.
