Electric Cloud Named a “Best Place to Work” in the San Francisco Bay Area!

Have you heard the news? It’s Electric (and we’re not at all shocked.) :)

According to a survey by topworkplaces.com, Electric Cloud is officially one of the Best Places to Work in the Bay Area!

The Top Workplaces evaluation is based purely on the results of an employee survey. Essentially, they rank companies based on the ratings that employees give them—we agree that employees are the best judges! The surveys cover a variety of topics including company culture, benefits and overall general appeal to work at Electric Cloud.

We’re honored to have done so well, and thankful for all the “little things” that our employees do to make Electric Cloud such a great place to work.

“So,” you may be asking…  “what makes Electric Cloud such a great place to work?”

We have great people!

Everyday I come into the office excited to see people that I work with. They are passionate about what they do both in the office and after-hours (work hard, play hard) and they rarely miss an opportunity to include other people in their fun – and their success.

We solve hard problems and love to learn.

The DevOps community, and the technology associated with it, is as diverse as any I’ve seen. It seems like almost every day there is some new technology being introduced, and many of the customers we work with are at the bleeding edge of this curve. We encourage our teams to participate in this by attending meetups and participating in external and external “hackathons” to experiment with new technologies that help us stay ahead of our competition.  We also bring external expertise in house by sponsoring meetups at our San Jose office, and hosting an online forum (c9d9) to discuss a wide range of topics related to Agile, DevOps and Continuous Delivery

We have great benefits, great perks, and great fun!

In addition to competitive salaries, full health benefits (medical, dental, vision), vacation, retirement plans, equity, commuter benefits, a dog-friendly environment and work from home options, we also provide weekly catered meals, fully stocked snack pantry (“watch out for the freshman 15!”) and special events like company-wide movie viewings, ad-hoc happy hours, seasonal parties, and monthly birthday celebrations.

And best of all, We’re hiring!

Yes. We’re hiring! Check out our career listings for the latest opportunities.

As Electric Cloud’s CEO I’m proud to say I work for a company that appreciates their employees and acknowledges their dedication to the company’s success.  With their help, we look forward to staying on the top 100 list for years to come!
