Earlier today I had the pleasure of joining Gene Kim and my fellow speakers at the upcoming DevOps Enterprise Summit (DOES15) for a live video chat.
After quick introductions, Gene walked us through the top 5 problems facing the DevOps community today – which also form the key focus areas for this year’s DevOps Enterprise Summit:
- How do we deal with automated testing, specifically for legacy environments
- How to address culture and leadership issues, particularly around transitioning and transformation
- Organizational design of roles and responsibilities
- How to address IT security and compliance issues – to get your Security team on board with your DevOps plans
- What metrics should organizations be using to track their DevOps implementation and performance.
We shared some examples of how the ‘horses’ are doing DevOps – everything from Mainframe, government, financial services, and other highly regulated industries and large scale enterprises. Our speakers shared how their DevOps journey has evolved, and how do their organizations address these challenges.
Watch the replay to learn more, and to get a taste for what’s to come at DevOps Enterprise Summit in October.
