ElectricFlow 101 Training

ElectricFlow is an Adaptive Release Orchestration platform that allows teams of all sizes to manage pipelines and environments, automate deployments and orchestrate releases.

Over an instructor-led day, participants will be introduced to some of our fundamental concepts and features, including comprehensive demonstrations of ElectricFlow capabilities.

This overview is targeted to anyone who will be using or implementing ElectricFlow. The overview provides a high level review of ElectricFlow, focusing on the most commonly used Application Release Automation capabilities including Environments, Applications, Pipelines, and Releases. Hands-on labs are incorporated throughout the overview so attendees can gain experience working with the solution. Listed below is a high level breakdown of the major course topics like:

  • Fundamentals (The ElectricFlow Object Model)
  • Authoring Deployments and Pipelines
  • Managing Releases

In addition, we’ll cover advanced Topics and Q&A session including:

  • Microservices & Containers
  • Reporting & Dashboards
  • Deploying to Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google and more)
  • Integrations with tools like JIRA, Jenkins, Liquibase, ServiceNow, various Test Tools etc

What should I bring with me to the training?

Please plan to bring your laptop so that you can gain hands-on experience with ElectricFlow during this lab-friendly training.

Are there any pre-requisites?

This is an introductory course so there are no Electric Cloud specific pre-requisites. Knowledge of DevOps tooling, scripting, and common operating system functions will be beneficial to students.
